Sunday 23rd April 2006
Having picked up the CRF250 from HWR Motocross two weeks ago, I thought it was time to get the finger out an run it in. Went to the HMXC Carse track on Friday night. The track was in a bit of a state, but got the bike run in anyways. Saturday saw the ususal change of oil/ once over at the workshop then back up to HWR Motocross for a swing arm chain guide, new grips - having dropped it on the marbles at the Carse - plus a new chain joing link and bits...all ready for Sunday at Woodside, Elgin.
Through to Woodside about 11.00. The track was dry and hard packed in places, but still good - as it always is with GMXC. Spent 20 mins warming up, then sent Harley out on the 65 KTM. I was getting really bad arm-pump, something I've never had before. Went out a a few more times, and felt that the bike was stepping out all over the place ? Few tweaks if the suspension dials should sort that ? Let me see......first lap out jumped the drop-off, bike went sideways..... this is gonna hurt....thought I'd saved it, but was heading to left hand side at the bottom of the jump - never seen another bike anywhere near the left hand side !! - only a Total Bol-X MX Racer could manage that !!
Hit the first post with the footpeg, started going down, throttle full open with the 'Superman Stylee' off the back of the seat.
Got the second post full on the side of the head, knocked the helmet round sidee-ways.
Snapped the third post with ma left side ribs..or under-arm...or chest....or shoulder....f##k knows it all hurts ?
Rolled to the side of the track, winded and dazed.....and fell in the bloody hole they dug to drain the water off the track !! A superb effort fro the
TOTAL BOL-X Team Boss.
Harley Leith and Ash Darling both did well on their 65's...watch out for further updates as their carrer blossoms !!

Sunday 9th April 2006
After a bit of a late Saturday night, we loaded up and headed off towards Woodside, Elgin. Reaching Forres we passed a Chump MTK MX team van driving the other way...???
Thirty seconds later and the snow and hail started. U-turned  at the roundabaout and headed back towards the Carse, Nairn. Arrived at the Carse .... and so did the snow and hail ! The weather did clear up after about an hour, but there were too many big bikes for Harley to go out on his 65. A Bad day for MX... a good day for pizza.

Sunday 26th March 2006
We headed up to Tain this weekend for the first round of the Scottish Champianship. Thought we were well on time until radio reminded us that clocks went forward an hour !!
Got to Tain intending to watch, but had to race once we saw the track.
Race 1 - Stalled at start, got bike started after the rest of the field had done 2 laps, then got a puncture.
Race 2 - Ridiculously shoddy start - even got beaten by a Chump MTK rider ! almost endo'd on last lap approaching commentator jump - fit a reeder !!
Race 3 - What the f##k was the point !
Left about sixish, followed some nugget in a silver Transit, who turned up the wrong road - the tean driver followed him then we realized it was wrong road, but couldn't get turned wi the trailer ! Ended up in Balmuchty ? then Hill of Fearn ? and finally rejoined A9 at the crawler lane  just doon from track !!
Another Fine days racing from the TOTAL BOL-X MX RACING team !!
